1.Can you use a propane heater under a covered patio?
Not all patio heaters work under the patio since some like the stand-alone patio usually emit a lot of smoke and heat which may end up melting the cover used. Also, consider the amount of heat being emitted by the device to avoid damaging the patio cover that you are working with.
2.Why will my patio heater not light?
It may be as simple as the gas valve on the propane tank being turned off. Yet another reason your patio will not stay lit is that the gas valve orifice is blocked. You should clean the orifice or have it replaced. Sometimes there is air in the gas line which is blocking propane from getting to the heater head unit.
3.Can outdoor heaters be left out in the rain?
Answer: No. Outdoor gas heaters should be stored in the upright position in an area that is sheltered from direct contact with rain and other inclement weather conditions.
4.Can I used patio heater when it is windy?
It is not recommended for you to use a patio heater if wind speed exceeds 10 miles per hour. In high level of wind, it is not so
